Terms of Service
Last updated: July 14, 2026
1. Who we are and what these Terms cover
Apoc (the "Service") is an AI-powered DevOps agent provided by MITON AI Spice s.r.o., with its registered office at Křižíkova 148/34, Karlín, 186 00 Praha 8, Czech Republic, Company ID (IČO): 295 29 786, VAT ID (DIČ): CZ29529786 ("we", "us" or the "Provider").
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Service, including the getapoc.ai website, the Apoc Slack application and the agent instance we operate for you. By registering an account, installing the Apoc Slack app or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Service is intended for businesses and their teams, not for consumers. You represent that you are at least 18 years old, that you are acting in the course of your business or profession, and that you have the authority to bind the company on whose behalf you use the Service.
2. Description of the Service
Apoc is an AI agent for infrastructure work that operates through Slack. In summary:
- Slack integration. You install the Apoc Slack app in your workspace and talk to the agent in Slack threads.
- Read-only access. You create a cross-account IAM role that lets the agent read your AWS account. The agent uses it only to read.
- Changes as pull requests. Any change to your infrastructure is proposed as a pull request with Terraform code to a repository you designate. Nothing is applied until you approve it.
- Execution in your account. Approved changes are applied by the Executor, an open-source component that runs in your own AWS account under your control. We never hold writable credentials to your account.
- Optional scoped writes. You may designate an explicit list of resources the agent may change directly without a pull request. This list is empty unless you configure it.
3. Your account and your responsibilities
- You will provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for the security of your Slack workspace, your AWS account, your GitHub repositories and any credentials used with the Service.
- You are responsible for who in your organization can interact with the agent, approve pull requests and configure the scoped-write list, and for the consequences of those approvals and configurations.
- You will notify us without undue delay at support@getapoc.ai if you become aware of any unauthorized use of the Service.
4. Permissions you grant
To provide the Service, you grant us the permissions needed to operate it, namely:
- access to your Slack workspace under the scopes shown on Slack's OAuth consent screen, in channels and threads where the agent is invited or mentioned;
- read-only access to your AWS account through the cross-account IAM role you create;
- access to the GitHub repositories you connect, so the agent can read context and open pull requests.
We use data obtained through these permissions only to provide, secure and support the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You may revoke any of these permissions at any time; parts of the Service may stop working as a result.
5. Approvals and responsibility for changes
The Service is designed so that a human approves every change. You acknowledge and agree that:
- a pull request approved by a person with access to your repository constitutes your authorization to apply the change;
- resources you place on the scoped-write list may be changed by the agent directly, without a pull request, and you are responsible for keeping that list appropriate;
- you are responsible for reviewing proposed changes before approving them and for the consequences of changes you approve or pre-authorize.
6. Acceptable use
You will not use the Service to:
- break the law or infringe the rights of others;
- access systems, accounts or data without authorization;
- violate the terms of Slack, GitHub, AWS or any other connected platform;
- interfere with or disrupt the Service, probe its security, or circumvent its usage limits, approval mechanisms or security features;
- operate systems where a failure could reasonably cause death, personal injury or severe physical or environmental damage.
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if we reasonably believe these Terms are being violated.
7. Fees
The Service is offered on a monthly subscription that grants a monthly allotment of credits, with optional top-up credits you can buy on top, plus a one-time trial credit. Prices are stated without VAT, which is added where applicable. We may change our pricing; we will give you at least 30 days' notice of changes that affect your current plan by email or Slack message. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or agreed otherwise; see our Refund & Cancellation Policy for details.
8. Intellectual property
- The Service, its software and its content are owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your internal business purposes for the duration of your use of the Service.
- You retain all rights to your data, your infrastructure and your repositories.
- Terraform code, pull requests, reports and other output the agent generates for you are yours to use without restriction.
- If you give us feedback, we may use it without obligation to you.
9. AI output
The Service uses artificial intelligence. AI output can be incorrect, incomplete or unsuitable for your environment. You are responsible for reviewing the agent's output, including proposed infrastructure changes, before acting on it. The Service does not provide legal, financial or other professional advice.
10. Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that AI output will be accurate. We are not responsible for the availability of Slack, GitHub, AWS or other third-party services the Service depends on.
11. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits or lost data arising from the use of the Service, and our total aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence and liability for harm to a person's natural rights.
12. Term and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the Apoc Slack app, removing the cross-account role and asking us to close your account. We may suspend or terminate the Service if you materially breach these Terms and do not remedy the breach within a reasonable period after notice, or if we discontinue the Service, in which case we will give you reasonable advance notice. Upon termination we delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy. Provisions which by their nature should survive termination (in particular sections 8, 10, 11 and 14) survive.
13. Changes to the Service and these Terms
We may modify the Service and these Terms. If we make a material change to these Terms, we will notify you by email or Slack message at least 14 days before it takes effect. If you do not agree with the change, you may terminate the Service before the change takes effect; continued use after that constitutes acceptance.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic, in particular Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service will be resolved by the courts of the Czech Republic having jurisdiction for the registered office of the Provider in Prague. This does not deprive you of any protection granted by provisions of law that cannot be derogated from by agreement.
